I always get fascinated by Claude Monet’s paintings of water lilies. I wonder how the colors were used in an impressionist manner in his beautiful paintings still making them so calm and soothing to eyes. I tried impressionism in this painting and tried to capture the beauty and serenity of the pond with water lilies in it, using only the art knives.
